Last night, members of the wider team were proud to attend the 2nd Luton Apprenticeship Awards, celebrating the outstanding talent and commitment shown by apprentices and employers across the region.

We were delighted to have shortlisted nominations in several categories:

Professional Services Apprentice of the Year – Tyla Hornsby

Construction, Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentice of the Year – James Trumper

Best Small/Medium Employer for Apprenticeships – Neville Trust

Neville Special Projects Ltd was also proud to sponsor the Aviation & Transport Apprentice of the Year award, with judging support from Vicky Trumper. Congratulations to Happiness S., apprentice at TUI, on a well-deserved win.

While we didn’t take home an award on the night, being runners-up in every category is a fantastic achievement—particularly given the exceptionally high standard of nominations.

Special congratulations go to Tyla Hornsby, who was named one of three Highly Commended apprentices in the overall Apprentice of the Year category.

It was an excellent evening and an important reminder of the role we play in supporting apprenticeships, lifelong learning, and skills development within our local community. We’re proud to be part of that journey.

Thanks to Luton Borough Council and Luton Rising for another wonderful celebration.
