This International Women’s Day, we spoke with women across Neville Trust about their experiences, career journeys and the advice they would share with others starting out.

One of the directors reflected on how mentorship and learning from others shaped their path:

“Working alongside experienced people early in my career gave me a real understanding of how the business works. That knowledge has stayed with me throughout my journey.”

They also spoke about the importance of support networks and shared learning:

“Networking and finding a mentor who can share their experience is so important. Having people around you with different levels of experience helps you grow and gain knowledge.”

Another colleague highlighted the determination sometimes needed when working in traditionally male-dominated sectors:

“I have had to push a little harder for others to trust the process, particularly within construction. I’ve learnt to stay confident and just be myself.”

Across the business, there is a shared message: experience, mentorship and confidence can open doors for the next generation.

Today we recognise the women across Neville Trust and the contribution they make every day - helping shape our people, our projects and our future.
