A message from Vicky Trumper, Director at Neville Trust.
The entire team at Neville Funerals has been devastated to witness the events unfold in Ukraine and we knew immediately that we wanted to do something to help. It’s difficult to know how to offer your support here in the UK, but small gestures such as donating torches and first aid kits can go a long way for those who remain in Ukraine, as well as the increasing number of refugees fleeing the country.
We have now set up collection boxes in each of our nine funeral branches to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine – so that those in our local communities can call in to drop off what they can – and we’ll take care of making sure that all donations are regularly delivered directly to the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain – the largest representative body for Ukrainians and those of Ukrainian descent in the UK.
Those items most needed are:
Medical goods such as: first aid kits, burns kits, bandages, painkillers, dressing pads.
Electrical goods such as: torches, power banks and AA and AAA batteries.
As well as general items such as sleeping bags.
